The Royal Australian Armoured Corps (RAAC) is a corps in the Australian Army. The corps was formed on 9 July 1941 as the Australian Armoured Corps to provide personnel to use Armoured Fighting Vehicles. It is the senior arms corps within the army and was granted the Royal prefix in 1948. In 1988, the corps absorbed two New Zealand units, Queen Alexandra's Mounted Rifles and the reserve Waikato Mounted Rifles. Units of the RAAC include tank regiments, reconnaissance regiments and armoured personnel carrier regiments. The RAAC used to hold all armoured personnel carriers in its units, but as a result of reorganisations, the majority of the APCs have been transferred to the infantry, however the RAAC still has the responsibility for training crews.

Most RAAC units are based in continental Australia. Two regiments (one regular and one reserve) are based in New Zealand.
